ABOUT THE ROLE

As the first Product Marketing Manager at Zeal, you will be responsible for leading strategy, planning and execution of Go-to-Market plans for new product features and launches. Working cross-functionally with Brand, Product, Design, and more. The Product Marketing Manager will activate go-to-market strategies ranging from top-of-funnel awareness campaigns down to lower-funnel conversion campaigns and will report directly to our CEO.

SOME THINGS YOU MAY BE WORKING ON

  • As a Product Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for leading strategy, planning and execution of Go-to-Market plans for new product features and launches
  • Work cross-functionally to develop, coordinate, and execute product launches launch a product blog and general blog 1x a week
  • Work on building out more content and publicity for our payroll university, fintech magazine
  • Build relationships in the fintech community to get a farther reach for our brand
  • Work collaboratively with Kirti (CEO) to develop product marketing materials and resources 
  • Obtain, maintain, and share industry, customer, and product insights with other teams
  • Influence product strategy and in-product communications through relevant research, product acumen, and effective cross-functional collaboration
  • Assist with Brand and Demand Generation campaigns and foster customer relationships to develop references and case studies

YOU HAVE

  • 2-4 years managing end-to-end marketing campaigns at an advertising/marketing agency and/or in-house at a tech, consumer finance or innovative, fast-paced consumer brand
  • Experience developing results-driven, go-to-market strategies and product launches
  • Out-of-the-box, strategic thinker ready to get creative and take risks building a consumer brand from ground level
  • Prior experience wearing multiple hats and can help direct in a multitude of areas for product marketing (brand, content, PR, etc)
  • Strong analytical skills, comfortable reviewing and analyzing business performance metrics, KPIs, etc
  • Experience owning strategic product marketing plans and executing with a tight grasp on key business objectives

NICE-TO-HAVES

  • Experience working in a flat startup organization would be awesome but we welcome all applicants!
  • Interest in joining a fun fast-paced start-up in the payroll industry
