ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking to 2x our current team and are looking to bring on a second recruiter, reporting into our Lead Recruiter and partnering closely with leadership to hire awesome individuals in marketing, operations, compliance, finance and sales positions.

You will get to build processes from the ground up and own full-cycle recruiting at a fast-paced fintech startup. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys the building aspect of recruiting and wants to take on a larger portion of autonomy in their role as a recruiter.

Salary for this role is between $70-95k+ (this figure includes commission in it) 

SOME THINGS YOU MAY BE WORKING ON

  • This role will focus a lot on building out top of funnel pipelines for our open roles, you will get to partner with our international sourcing team, use top of the line email campaigning software (Covey) and other creative sourcing strategies to attract the right candidates to Zeal (we are about empowering recruiting here and if you have a great idea and need help implementing the leadership team and your manager (me) are all ears
  • You will also conduct intro calls, manage scheduling and negotiations and closing for about 3-5 open roles at a given time
  • Build out and systematize workflows, hiring plans and document successes and failures for future recruiters
  • You will get to work with our Founders, Head of Partnerships, Head of Operations and our General Counsel to understand what they are looking for and provide market feedback to help align the team on what candidates are looking for and adjusting the hiring process accordingly
  • Interest in recruiting with a diverse lens and an ability to build a hiring process that helps eliminate bias in the hiring process
  • Side projects in recruiting brand, culture, diversity, and events are all possible - we’d love for you to grow as a recruiter in the ways that you’d like to

YOU HAVE

  • 1-3 years of full-cycle recruiting experience
  • Experience with any ATS (we use Greenhouse)
  • Experience with a variety of sourcing tools 
  • Ability to pick up new operational tasks quickly
  • Hustler spirit and operational mentality
  • Self-directed and you thrive in ambiguity by adding order to chaos

NICE-TO-HAVE

  • Start-up recruiting experience
  • Experience using Google Spreadsheets, Notion and Gdocs

This is our process for most of our roles, but sometimes stages are subject to change from time-to-time, but we will definitely notify you of the change ahead of time.
